Mystic Timber Framers is proud to offer high-level services to meet the needs of today’s busy homeowner. Our basic building package includes a frame erected on your foundation. We are available to finish the frame, or leave the frame for your completion. Mystic Timber Framers does not offer ‘barn kits’. Our buildings are fairly large and heavily framed and not well suited for standalone homeowner assembly and erection.

At Mystic Timber Framers our focus is to preserve the time honored traditions of timber framed construction. Our buildings are extremely well constructed and will be available for future generations to enjoy!

The following provides a summary of services offered by Mystic Timber Framers.

Garden Shed Construction
Mystic Timber Framers is pleased to be able to offer high quality garden shed construction. A Mystic Timber Framer’s garden shed is a distinctive addition to today’s New England landscape. Our garden sheds tend to be relatively large, in the 12’x14’ to 16’x18’ size range. Most people actually consider our garden sheds to be small barns!

Carriage House Construction
Mystic Timber Framers can provide a lighter duty carriage house (w/o loft) or a heavy-duty carriage house (w/ loft). The Mystic Timber Framer’s carriage house is well suited as a garage, workshop or conversion to an in-home office or guest quarters.

Barn Construction
Mystic Timber Framers can provide a multitude of barn sizes and configurations to meet most any need. The Mystic Timber Framer’s barn is a versatile building that can be used for many applications. Our heavily framed barns feature full lofts and are commonly used as horse barns, workshops, garages, or converted to living space.

Structural Restoration
Mystic Timber Framers is experienced in structural restoration. We provide high quality structural repairs by use of timber framing or a combination of timber framing and conventional framing. Structural restoration services are available for residential structures or outbuildings. Mystic Timber Framers can return your antique home or barn back to its original condition!

Home Additions
Timber framed additions are an attractive option to add increased living space and increased value to an existing home. A timber framed addition offers a dramatic space that can be used as a great room, kitchen expansion, or master bedroom suite.
