Pricing information is provided as an aid for homeowners
to determine construction costs. A summary of items that typically need
to be accounted for to understand final construction costs follows.
• Site work
• Foundation
• Barn Framing
• Finish work (siding, windows, doors, etc.)
• Barn roofing
• Utilities (electrical and water)
• Horse stalls, if required
MTF can provide a fixed cost proposal for the framing,
finish work and horse stall installation. An estimate for the other necessary
construction elements can be provided based on homeowner request.
In general, the below pricing is based on eastern, CT or RI construction
sites. Pricing for other areas will be similar, but additional transportation
costs will be incurred. A detailed cost proposal/contract will be provided
based on your specific needs.
The basic building package, as priced below, includes
a complete barn-frame, including timber frame, loft, and rafters erected
on your foundation. All of the necessary wood material to finish the building
is included in the basic barn-framing package. This material includes;
roof boards, secondary framing (4x4’s), and kiln-dried siding. Enough
kiln-dried siding is provided for door fabrication.
